IPL 2020 : Jofra Archer Ruled Out of The Tournament
The 13th season of the IPL (Indian Premier League 2020) is going on from March 29 and before that Rajasthan Royals have suffered a huge setback. Actually, the team's fast bowler Jofra Archer has been ruled out of the entire tournament due to injury.
According to media reports, Jofra Archer has a right elbow fracture. This information was given by the England Cricket Board on Thursday. Due to injury, Archer will also not go to Sri Lanka next month to play a two-Test series with England.
Giving information about Jofra Archer's injury, the ECB said, "Archer underwent a scan of the right elbow in Britain on Wednesday. The fracture was confirmed in the scan itself. Now he will begin rehabilitation with the ECB medical team."
An ECB statement confirmed on Saturday that the fast bowler is currently recovering from his elbow injury and is slated to undergo an MRI scan in a couple of days.

As per the statement, Archer will continue his rehabilitation process for the next two weeks and is expected to turn out for Sussex in May prior to England’s Test series against the West Indies.
On Friday, a statement by the Royals franchise confirmed that they are working closely with ECB to secure a speedy recovery.
Rajasthan Royals have been dependent on Jofra Archer's tight bowling throughout his journey with the team since 2018. Ahead of the IPL 2020 Auction, the Royals retained Archer and maintained faith in him as their strike bowler. Now that the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) has announced that Archer will miss the upcoming tour of Sri Lanka and the IPL, the Royals have been rendered a huge blow.
