The full schedule of the 13th season of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2020) has been released. The IPL 2020 opening match will be played between Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings on March 29 at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.
The league matches of the season will be held on 17 May and the final match will be played on 24 May. This time, two matches will be played in the IPL on Sunday only, adding another week in the league stage for the 2020 season.This means that the 13th edition of the IPL will last 50 days, compared to 44 days in the previous year.
In this season of IPL, Royal Challengers will play their first match with Kolkata Knight Riders on 31 March.
Royal Challengers Bangalore recently changed their logo, which attracted the attention of the players as well as the players. After being ranked at the bottom of the points table with only five wins from fourteen league matches last season, the Virat Kohli-led franchise is hoping to change fortunes this year.
Following the signing of proven players such as Aaron Finch, Chris Morris, Joshua Phillip, Kane Richardson and Isuru Udana, Royal Challengers have stepped up their squad.
With quality homegrown talent like Yuzvendra Chahal, Washington Sundar, Navdeep Saini, Devadatta Padikkal, and Shivam Dubey, already in their ranks, the Bengaluru-based outfit will be scheduled to go all the way in this edition of the IPL.
With a fresh season, facelift jersey and balanced squad RCB will be eyeing their first IPL title.
