
ICC Test Championship 2019-21 - Full Schedule
International Cricket Council (ICC) is organizing the Test Championship Tournament to revive the ICC Test Cricket, this tournament will last two years until June 2021.
The beginning of the tournament will be from 1st August, the first test of the Ashes series starting in Edgbaston. The first match of the championship will be played between England and Australia.
The top nine test teams will participate in this tournament. Each will play six series - three in home and three away - against opponents mutually chosen on a cycle of two years.
The number of matches played in each series will be 120 points. Thus, each side will have the chance to secure maximum of 720 points and the top two teams will reach the finals with the maximum score.
If the final ends in a tie or draw, then the team points that have been eliminated at the top of the table, the team will become world champions with the prestigious trophy.
